If you would like to write a book review or add to a review someone else started, click the Discussion tab. If you want to start a new discussion, you need to start with Post Message. Type the title and author's name in the Subject line and your review in the message box. Make sure your review includes a brief summary and your opinion of the book. Include any awards and the genre at the end of your review. Remember, tell enough that others will be hooked and want to also read the book. DO NOT GIVE AWAY THE ENDING! Select Post when you are done. It's a wiki, it can keep getting better only if YOU add your reviews.

If you want to comment on a book discussion after you read it, post your response under Reply.

Things to think about as you post or reply to a book discussion .

  • Contribute your ideas. We are all better when we all contribute

  • Collaborate with one another. No one owns an idea once it is shared (but that doesn't give you permission to plagiarize).

  • Cooperate by "listening" to others' ideas, considering what they have to say. Be willing to change your own ideas as you add others' ideas to your own.

You are now a part of a grand discussion about books. Make it a good site. It becomes what YOU make it!
